WOMEN'S HEALTH TRAINING COURSE
WHISC has delivered a Women’s Health
Training Course for many years from the Information Drop In Centre.
Many of our volunteers have attended the course which is accredited
through the Open College Network (Level 2: OCN). The course has
enabled many women, who have no previous or recent qualifications,
to gain confidence and improve their employment prospects.
The
course runs on Mondays for 16 weeks, usually during term time and
covers issues such as stress, menopause, patients rights, relaxation,
and much more.
We
can run up to two Women’s Health Training Courses each year
and women are welcome to register their interest in attending at
any time.
